The new TA dungeon path is pretty slow going at first. It took our 1st-run party a couple of hours to clear it (and a lot of repair bills). I have no doubts that subsequent times through will be a lot faster, however, as the initial learning of the mechanics and strategies of the various rooms is the main cause of run slowdown. A lot of people will complain about the difficulty of the run (and already are), but to be honest, nothing is really all that difficult once you know what to do.

Most of the Living World-related achievements can be gotten in just one finished run of the TA Aetherblade path (we all got our Slickpack backpieces last night just for that one run-through), but the permanent Twilight Assault achievements have a few more that will take some time.


This is a permanent path added to the game, so I'll be doing TA Aetherpath runs from here on out. Hit me up if you want to come. Those new Twilight Assault skins are awesome looking (cyan/purple color scheme is great) and I'd love to farm a bunch of them for my characters.






* Tequatl gives much better rewards now for completion. GOOD. Also, you can get chests for battery event completion every time you complete them during a Teq fight, not just once a day. (The end chest for killing Tequatl remains a daily chest.) Seeing as you can get the Mini Tequatl from the battery chests, that will (hopefully) drive down the mini prices on the TP.


* Temple of the Silent Storm got an interesting change to it:

The new Aetherpath in TA is awesome. The artist went wild on this one Very Happy.

It will take some time to learn the mechanics on every room but it's all doable. I highly recommend bringing at least one guardian to provide support for some of the tricky encounters.

As far as difficulty, well... it really isn't that hard. Figuring out the mechanics is what makes this path hard. Everyone has a role in each room and needs to communicate among the party.
